Maintenance Technician

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician / Technical Operator to join their team in Lincolnshire, IL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, capable of accurately diagnosing and efficiently resolving equipment issues. This role requires a motivated individual who is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments. Hiring for 3 shifts:

• 1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• 2nd shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with equipment and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with production team to address maintenance needs without disrupting workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Assist in training new technicians and operators as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical Degree or certification in relevant field preferred.
• Prior experience in a maintenance technician or technical operations role within Blow Fill Seal or Plastic Injection Molding environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Proficiency in diagnosing equipment issues accurately and efficiently.
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed.
