Be a part of our Ledcor Technical Services team and build a rewarding career with usEssential Responsibilities:Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codesLeads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigationsReviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedulesEstimates activity durations and materials for complex projectsWorking knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the projectParticipates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiationsSet priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field teamProvides leadership and mentorship to project staff and SuperintendentsQualifications:Three or more years of experience in as a Telecommunications construction SuperintendentExperience in aerial fiber construction is requiredPost-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an assetComprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practicesEffective Communication and leadership skillsAbility to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractorsProblem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issuesStrong organizational and planning skillsWorking Conditions:This is a site-based positionTravel up to 40% of the time throughout the state of West VirginiaLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
