Datacenter Technician

Role: Data Center Technician
Client: Banking/Financial
Location: Nashville TN - 5 Days/Week Onsite
12+ Months - Extension / Permanent Possible
Schedule - Saturday - Wednesday - 12 AM - 8 AM EST (11 AM - 7 AM CST) - Night Shift

Job Details:
* The Data Center Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Data Center Services (DCS) group.
* The DCS team is responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all server hardware/devices.
* The position requires a professional with proven experience and success in managing the full life cycle of data center infrastructure projects from planning customer server installations, cabling, and designing structured cable plant systems. This individual will provide excellent customer service and report progress regularly.
* They will also assist the DCS team with troubleshooting server/network/storage systems.
* The work environment is fast paced and deadline-oriented where adaptability is key to our success as a team, thus having depth knowledge of working large-scale data center environments is necessary.

Description:
* Looking for the Data Center Technician/Engineer
* Need exp working in large scale datacentres
* Should have some problem-solving skills
* Will be putting cable labels on the cables
* Doing racking and stacking
* Doing base configurations on servers
* Need strong cabling experience
* Knowledge of UCS / Cisco / DCIM Tools like Sunbird or any other DCIM Tools
* Knowledge of Server Blades will be good

MUST HAVES
* Data Center
* Cabling - 5E/6E/Copper/Fiber Optics
* Rack/Stack
* Servers/Switches/etc.

PREFERRED
* Cisco
* UCS (Unified Communication Service)
* Server Blades
* DCIM Tool - Sunbird / Any other will also work
