This position plays a key role in driving non-install revenue, improving system performance for customers, and delivering a positive post-installation experience. This role requires strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple service opportunities simultaneously.Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsProactively seek and solicit service sales opportunities from both existing and non-AES customers.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the service sales and pre-execution phase, providing proactive communication and updates.Set clear expectations regarding scope, timelines, warranty coverage, costs, and execution dependencies.Manage the service sales pipeline from initial inquiry through contract execution, maintaining visibility into status, priorities, and timelines.Track project milestones related to service sales readiness and identify risks or gaps that could impact execution.Maintain accurate records of service opportunities, proposals, contracts, and project details within company systems.Partner closely with Service Case Coordinators, Service Technicians, and Operations to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to execution.Clearly document and communicate scope, assumptions, constraints, and risks to internal teams to support accurate scheduling and execution.Identify trends in service needs, recurring system issues, execution challenges, or customer feedback, and share insights with leadership.Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.Skills/Qualifications1 or more years of sales, project management, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience considered.Experience in and knowledge of solar power (preferred).Proficient in Google Suite/Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Calendar, Forms, Docs, Gmail) or related software (preferred).Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and other related software. Salesforce, NetSuite, and RF Smart experience preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional and internal collaboration.Ability to work tactfully and effectively with leaders in different departments.Ability to communicate effectively with customers by phone and email.Able to work under pressure, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities.Proactive and helpful demeanor.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to effectively manage time, anticipate needs, and work independently with minimal supervision.Detail oriented.Ability to thrive in an independent rolePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent).Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times (infrequent).Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (frequent).Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.Compensation & BenefitsThis is a full-time hourly/non-exempt (over-time eligible) position with an expected base pay range of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (depending on qualifications & experience).Additional Earning Opportunities including annual commission and on target earnings of $8,000 - $12,000 based on performance and sales targets.Hybrid: This position is eligible to work a combination of in-office work at AES headquarters (St. Paul, MN) and remote/work from home eligibility: This is subject to change by management based on company and business needs, may or may not be eligible until 90+ days of employment/training period completion, will be determined and agreed on by management and employee, and contingent upon employees being in good standing.PTO accrual per hour will be.03847, up to 80 hours annually (120 hours annually after year 1).6 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday.Dental + vision insurance (free for individual).Health insurance (free individual option).401K with company match (eligible after 90 days, age 21+).Discretionary Profit Sharing Bonus based on company performance.Free employee assistance plan.Company-provided training and Continuing Education.Much morePlease include a copy of your resume with your application.
