Ag Management Solutions is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our client organization, Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance into its next phase of growth and influence. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, particularly identity-preserved agriculture, and will have a proven track record of effective management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic direction and leadership to advance SSGA’s mission and vision. Develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth, sustainability, and industry influence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with SSGA members, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization and advocate for industry interests.
• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of SSGA, including financial management, program development, and staff leadership. Ensure the organization operates efficiently and effectively within its budget.
• Strategic Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and innovation within the industry. Lead initiatives that enhance the value and impact of SSGA’s programs and services.
• Advocacy and Representation: Represent SSGA in industry forums, conferences, and policy discussions. Advocate for the interests of the identity-preserved agriculture sector at local, national, and international levels.
• Board Relations: Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set organizational policies, strategies, and goals. Provide regular updates and reports on organizational performance and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including experience in the agricultural sector, preferably with a focus on identity-preserved agriculture or related fields.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business administration, public policy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Skills: Strong strategic planning, organizational, marketing and management skills. Proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the agricultural supply chain, industry regulations, and emerging trends in identity-preserved agriculture.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, manage complex projects, and drive organizational success.
