National Account ManagerThe National Account Manager is responsible for working with our largest existing corporate accounts, and prospects, to manage, organize and facilitate the execution of their product and business needs, and in developing new corporate business opportunities and driving revenue.What you'll do:Operate as the lead point of contact for any, and all matters specific to your corporate accounts.Participate in negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profit.Educate, advise, and consult with corporate customers on new menu trends to assist them in improving their customer satisfactionInvestigate, recommend and educate new product offerings to capture new market trendsCall prospective corporate accounts and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationshipAnticipate and research competitive products and services and formulate strategy and communication to differentiate them products and servicesIncrease sales in respective corporate accounts by preparing sales informationEstablish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for corporate accountsDevelop a trusted advisor relationship with key corporate accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsorsSecure and execute orders taking into consideration inventory levels for fulfillment and delivery datesFollow up with corporate accounts to ensure satisfaction and address unique and particular needsEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectivesAct as the face of to existing corporate accounts and prospective customer accountsCommunicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholdersDevelop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotasForecast and track key corporate account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)Prepare reports on corporate account statusIdentify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with outside sales partners to ensure growth attainmentAssist with high severity requests or issue escalations as neededAbout you:BA or equivalent experience.Culinary and/or food experience requiredAccount management experience requiredStrong selling skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced selling environment.Strong analytical, negotiating and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyPresentation, negotiation and influencing skillsPerks & Benefits:Paid Vacations, Paid HolidaysHealth, Dental and Medical BenefitsWeekly payLife Insurance5% above cost for our high-quality food productsEmployee discounts for travel and events401kEmployee Stock Purchase PlanThe Chefs' Warehouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate based on actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
