As a Medical Director-Psychiatrist, you will be providing psychiatric care in a direct, hands-on capacity while gaining valuable experience supervising staff and managing operations across multiple Life Strategies Counseling locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provides psychiatric care, medication assessments, and crisis response to new and existing outpatient clients.
  2. Oversees clinical operations at 16 Life Strategies locations throughout Arkansas.
  3. Develops individual evaluations based upon assessment data and provides therapeutic interventions as necessary.
  4. Directly supervises APRNs to help them provide exceptional patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  1. MD/DO psychiatrist licensed in Arkansas.
  2. 5+ years of clinical experience.
  3. Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a leadership role.
  2. Proven solid computer and basic technology skills.
  3. Proven solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
