Job Description: The firm is a leading global law firm, is currently seeking highly qualified mid to senior level attorneys to join our Litigation practice group in Chicago. As a Litigation Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters, collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys and contributing to the success of high-profile cases.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, attending court hearings, and participating in trial preparation.
- Work closely with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Analyze legal issues and provide sound advice to clients on litigation matters.
- Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and case investigations as necessary.
- Assist with client communications and maintain regular updates on case developments.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Illinois State Bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of three to six years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong academic credentials, including a demonstrated record of academic achievement.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.
