Job Title: Assistant Portfolio Manager - Project Coordination FocusLocation: Onsite in Tigard, ORTravel: Local travel to properties in the Portland area (mileage reimbursed)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Employment Type: Direct HireCompensation: $27 - $32 per hour DOE Position OverviewLHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Assistant Portfolio Manager to support our client's regional property management team. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of property management experience with a strong desire to focus on managing projects of capital improvements. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, and the ability to delegate and eventually lead teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Regional Managers with property-related projects across Portland area propertiesCoordinate bids, vendor communications, and property inspectionsTrack project progress, ensuring timely completionCreate and manage invoices, following up with vendors and clients to ensure timely paymentsHandle administrative tasks including phone coverage and reporting for managersCompile bid packages and maintain daily updates on project statusQualificationsPreferred Experience: 2+ years of experience in property management, ideally supporting a regional portfolioTechnical Skills: Must be computer savvy; AppFolio experience preferred, but other property management software exposure is a plusSoft Skills: Dependable, strong work ethic, approachable, and willing to learnEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree or furthering education in relation to property management is a strong plusBenefitsStrong pathway for growth within the company100% employer-paid medical and dental premiums2 weeks PTO, 1 week of sick time, plus holidays and your birthday off401(k) with employer matchShort-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and FSABenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
