Clerk PositionThis position is located at 11681 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, 66111 United States.Role SummaryAs a Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting the Leadership Team in the day-to-day operations of the department, monitoring productivity, and communicating necessary adjustments in departmental processes. You will be expected to be flexible in completing projects and navigating changing business priorities. Additionally, you will need to provide clear and concise directions to ensure SLAs are maintained and goals are met. You will perform department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager and work with all organizational levels including fellow employees, customers, and management.Role ResponsibilitiesAssist Leadership Team with day-to-day functions in assigned departmentMonitor productivity and communicate adjustments in departmental processesFlexible in completing projects and navigating changing business prioritiesProvide clear and concise directions to ensure SLAs are maintained and goals are metMaintain high level, proactive communication utilizing radios and emailsPerform department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/ManagerWorks with all organizational levels including fellow employees, customers, and managementRole QualificationsMust be 18 years or olderHigh school degree or GED requiredProfessional written and verbal communicationProblem-solving and reporting skillsStrong computer skills; Microsoft Office SuiteMaintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as requiredComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standardsPhysical Requirements:Able to stand and walk for considerable distance throughout a shiftClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periodsReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 poundsOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movementsThe PerksURBN offers comprehensive perks & benefits to employees.
