Learn more about Bank OZK benefits.Job Purpose & Scope: Responsible for assisting the strategic expansion of the Bank's reach into diversified Commercial & Industrial (non-real estate) and sponsor backed banking as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects in an assigned market area.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of finance and credit analysis.Comprehensive knowledge of lending activities and terminology.Knowledge of federal and state lending and compliance regulations.Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to demonstrate effective leadership presence and credibility.Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen and business development skills.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across functional and organizational groups and build business relationships to achieve the desired objectives of the Bank.Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or job-related field, or commensurate work experience required; Master's degree in job-related field preferred.Successful completion of a formal credit training program or equivalent work experience required.Minimum of nine (9) years of work experience in commercial lending, corporate lending, sponsor finance, and/or enterprise value lending required.Demonstrated progressive experience in banking, lending, or finance preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in strategic planning and leading a team preferred.Job Expectations: Operate customary equipment and technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation.
