Deployment Network SpecialistZachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Deployment Network Specialist that will primarily support the O&M team in pre-installation, on-site deployment, and go-live testing. The Deployment Network Specialist is responsible for preparing and performing on-site network surveys at customer sites, participate in the infrastructure configuration, and testing activities prior to deployment. This is a great opportunity in the Springfield area.Responsibilities for the Deployment Network Specialist:Working knowledge of WAN technology and deployment and troubleshooting different communication circuit types.Understanding of layer 1 technologies and their capabilities and limitations, including cable management, cable types, media converters, circuits to include CPE, Telco & Demark, etc.Installation experience with routers, switches, firewalls and Security and Encryption appliances.Required Qualifications for the Deployment Network Specialist:7+ years demonstrated performance in network engineering technology, with a bachelor's degree or industry equivalent experience.DoD Manual 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Certification for Intermediate level.Strong communication skills and experience using ticketing.Strong understanding in troubleshooting in cloud network technologies (Expressroute, and Azure virtual networks)Experience with level 1 technologies such as cable management, cable types, CPELayer 3 experience highly preferred (BGP, MPLS, SD WAN)Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUSTop Secret w/ SCI eligibility.Compensation for the Deployment Network Specialist:Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 *depending on experience*Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick leave as required by law
