Senior FP&A Analyst Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst with significant experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP, forecasting, continuous improvement, data analytics, and cloud programs (SAP).


Responsibilities:

- Lead the financial planning and analysis process for the manufacturing division, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives

- Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning and operational decision-making

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization

- Utilize data analytics tools to provide actionable insights and drive business performance improvements

- Play a key role in the implementation and utilization of cloud-based programs, particularly within the SAP environment


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification is a plus

- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on the manufacturing industry

- Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems

- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and continuous improvement principles

- Advanced data analytics skills, including proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools

- Experience with cloud-based programs, particularly within the SAP environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
