Role Overview:

As the Plant Manager, you will be at the helm of our plant operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality grating products. You will manage production schedules, uphold quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all manufacturing operations, including production and shipping schedules.
  • Review and analyze production and inspection reports, addressing any issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage plant maintenance and quality systems, ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency.
  • Lead with a hands-on approach, supervising and mentoring plant supervisory staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Address customer issues directly and maintain strong employee relations.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field; a four-year degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a plant management role, with a strong background in manufacturing.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, or Six Sigma is advantageous.
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex information and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
