In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Work Schedule: Monday Friday 11:00pm 7:30am; alternating weekendsWork Location: Woodland Park, NJBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.Job Responsibilities:Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name departmentHelp lead the team in their daily processes and proceduresAssist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testingOversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areasEncourage process improvements and best practicesPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracyResolve any production errors as requested by managementResearch and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessaryEngage in continuous process and service level improvementsPerform administrative duties as neededJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAssociates degree or higher is a plus3 years of relevant experience; preferably in a clinical laboratoryPrior leadership experience is a plusFamiliarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferredStrong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skills; both written and verbalHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environmentAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
