Role Description

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer who will wear multiple hats, working on our core platform, developing client-specific solutions, and leading the effort to demo our work to clients and their partners. You'll be client-facing and will work closely with them to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions using the Cinchapi platform and our software development services.


Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our core platform
  • Design and implement custom solutions for clients using our platform
  • Conduct technical demonstrations of our platform and client solutions
  • Provide training and support to clients on our technology
  • Collaborate with sales teams to address technical questions during the sales process
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Perform system administration tasks (account creation, password resets, etc.).
  • Assist in identifying and staffing technical projects.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting mechanisms.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in Consulting and Sales
  • Knowledge of Presales processes
  • API Integration experience
  • Ability to work independently and remotely


Development Background

Preferred

  • Full-stack development experience
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience in a client-facing technical role
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Alternatively, strong programming skills in either:

  • Backend: Proficiency in Java and experience with non-relational databases
  • Frontend: Expertise in Vue.js and modern frontend development practices


Compensation:

This contract role offers an annualized rate range of $110,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
