  • Working with senior teammates to develop and deliver client presentations highlighting Klar Ventures’ unique accomplishments and capabilities
  • Cultivating relationships with existing and potential clients to establish trust, enabling the assumption of significant responsibility through deal execution, and generate new business
  • Conducting company, industry, and capital markets research to develop and deliver client presentations, highlighting client’s unique value propositions, market positioning relative to competition, and strategic value creation opportunities
  • Creating detailed and dynamic financial models to analyze financial performance, assess transaction structures, and evaluate investor returns
  • Preparing compelling transaction marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda and management presentations
  • Facilitating due diligence strategy and execution to achieve efficient transaction closings
  • Managing projects involving company owners and senior management teams to achieve consistent forward progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance / accounting with a minimum 18 months of prior investment banking experience with significant exposure to M&A (healthcare transaction experience a plus); we will also consider candidates with multiple years of Quality of Earnings Accounting or consulting experience that desire to transition to an investment banking role
  • Recent Analyst-to-Associate promotion (either at an investment bank or via investment banking to private equity) a plus
  • Highly professional presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to achieve high levels of accuracy and consistently progress projects with minimal supervision
  • Maturity and experience working in a demanding environment with driven professionals
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to thrive while simultaneously managing multiple projects and work-streams
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, with specific experience building discounted cash flow models and LBO financial models
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Series 63 & 79 licenses a plus but not required

This opportunity represents a differentiated career path characterized by the following advantages:

  • A flexible but intense merit-based work culture that enables significant autonomy for professionals and industry-leading work product and results for clients
  • Meaningful client and colleague relationships and friendships
  • A focus on meaningful work and maximum efficiency for all employees at all levels
  • The opportunity to progress your career completely based upon personal performance and passions, without being held back by traditional hierarchies or standard promotion paths
  • Significant long-term earning potential driven by the encouragement of professionals, once having demonstrated the ability to perform at a high level, to drive the development of and take ownership in new business units / ventures
