We fight the stigma around mental health medication because being in a steady-state is more important than suffering in shame and silence. We don’t just prescribe prescriptions — we’re here to combine test results and cutting-edge treatment modalities with creating balance using the basics of self-care and removing barriers to getting support. We work closely with other members of your health care team to form a collaborative approach to your treatment. Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Medical Assistant/LPN/Admin Assistant at Peak Interactive Wellness. As a Medical Assistant/LPN/Admin Assistant, your day-to-day tasks will involve assisting medical professionals in providing patient care, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will work closely with the medical team to provide support and deliver high-quality care to patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant or LPN program
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant or LPN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically Practice Fusion
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Managing medication refill requests
- Facilitating pharmacy and clinic communication
- Completing records requests
- Prior authorizations
- Rescheduling clients
- Helping in our Spravato esketamine clinic as needed
