The ideal candidate will have experience with strategic planning; organizational change management and communications; workforce development and optimization; program analysis and design; and, meeting design and facilitation. Duties may include, but are not limited to:Providing thought leadership and execution support for strategy implementationThinking strategically, managing risks, translating strategies into actionable plans, and developing or providing key input into project schedulesAnalyzing business processes and programs to identify opportunities to increase business efficiencyCoordinating the development of comprehensive business cases to be presented to senior leadership, Congress, and the AdministrationDeveloping the appropriate documentation (for example, plans, processes, and presentations) to communicate information and facilitate buy-inSolving complex organizational transformation, operations, and talent development problemsDesigning and delivering change management approaches focused on stakeholder engagement, adoption, and communicationWorking with senior leadership to facilitate application of various approaches, frameworks, and methodologiesDeveloping conclusions and recommendations, writing reports, and assisting with briefings and presentationsHas a leading role, working with the Project Manager, in effectively engaging the customer, delivering presentations, leading customer meetings, resolving issues, and exceeding customer expectationsProviding meeting design and facilitation support as well as logistical support, when neededDemonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction to design, implementation and management business programsDemonstrated ability to lead all key project areas and multiple workstreams of high complexityCoordinating tasks and reviewing work products for completeness and adherence to client requirementsProviding coaching and mentoring to team members, when appropriateDemonstrated ability to work independentlyEducation:BA/BS degree in a related field requiredSkills:Ability to deal with ambiguity and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionA team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role, when necessaryA detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and approachesExceptional written and oral communication skills, including writing white papers and delivering formal presentationsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret the complex documentsAbility to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaintsAn experienced leader with appropriate industry experienceAn energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional imageA strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focusA well-organized and self-directed individual who is "politically savvy" and a team playerAn intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skillsA decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspectiveExperience:Requires a minimum of 12 years' experienceExperience with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint requiredCompensation:The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $100,000 - $130,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE's total compensation package for employees.Work Environment:The primary work location of this position is Washington D.C. Metro area, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed.
