Full-Time Sales AssociateReporting to the Store Manager, the full-time sales associates are the customer service specialist of the store. They are responsible to exceed customer expectations by listening to customer needs, finding products that meet their needs, providing in depth product information about the goods they are interested in and closing the sale.Key Responsibilities:Meet and exceed sales goalsMaintain brand and operational standards (visual, cleanliness, etc.)Pro-actively manage customer needs and exceed expectations by utilizing the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standard, following the Uniqlo Fundamental Principles and saying the 6 standard phrases.Be knowledgeable of fitting room standards and assist when neededAct as cashier when required by following cashier protocolProcess shipment and ensure all merchandise is represented on the floor in full size runsAssist management to identify and resolve issues in the storeProvide product and brand knowledge to customersFollow all company policy and procedures & notify management of any infractionsAssist with special projects as assigned by managementRequired Skills and Abilities:Strong communication skillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentagesAbility to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull, move, lift or carry objects of at least 25 pounds.Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbingEducation/Experience:High School Diploma or G.E.D., or 6 months retail or related experience.Salary:$17.50 per hourThe offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.Full-Time Availability Requirements:Must have only two restrictions on availability during the week.Must have open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered).Must be able to work holidays.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401k plan - 100% match on the first 3% you contribute, 50% on the next 2% you contributePaid parental leaveFertility benefits, including IVFLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insuranceHSA/FSA optionsEmployee Assistance ProgramVacation & Personal Time OffSick & Wellness Time Off30% Employee Merchandise DiscountEmployee Referral BonusCommuter benefitsWork Location: 1167 Galleria Way, Glendale CA 91210Notice for California Job Applicants and Employees: For information regarding how we handle your personal information and to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, please see our Privacy Policy at Uniqlo.com.
