Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Director / Licensed Assisted Living Administrator at American Retirement Homes, Inc. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assisted living. This is a small community, 20 beds, which is perfect for a new ED or an ED who wants to enjoy a personal connection with residents and families. This includes managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and implementing policies and procedures, maintaining financial performance, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff. The Executive Director will also work closely with the management team and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for the organization.

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience in the senior living industry
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Adept at financial management and budgeting
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field a plus
  • Licensed Assisted Living Administrator or willing to enroll in Administrator in-training program
