Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleSr. Lead Product Manager Network is an overall owner for a set of service offerings across multiple segments with a focus on Wholesale. This position is focused on managing, evolving, and expanding Lumen's Local and Wholesale Ethernet products. This role requires cross functional leadership and coordination with peer organizations to maximize sales, revenue, margins and customer satisfaction. This product management professional can understand segmented customer requirements, the landscape of competitive options each customer may consider, and articulate where the product set they manage is the optimum solution among other Lumen networking alternatives. The Product Manager and their distributed, cross-functional team of operational and, in some cases, IT development resources must ensure the product features and functionality can drive growth and achieve positive user and customer experience. This position will require strategic vision to lead the products through digital transformation from the product offerings through internal operations and digital integration with external partners.The Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure product alignment with cross functional stakeholders including development, operations, sales, marketing, legal, regulatory, etc.Maintain and evolve Sales and internal communications and documentation as living documentsMaintain and communicate prioritized backlog and roadmap for product, features, and service offeringsLeverage metrics, market conditions, and customer requirements to assess, recommend, implement, and manage product portfolio mix which maximizes revenue margins and aligns with corporate strategic direction.Defines market, including competitive analysis and definition of product functionalityPrepares and presents business cases for new products, features, and/or enhancementsDrive portfolio execution to attain its goals as set forth in company strategy and financial forecastsSupport sales and marketing resources with information regarding customer benefits, market differentiation, and overall value propositionSupport field sales and engineering for qualified opportunities by assessing customization or feature feasibilityTeam leader that can cast vision, illustrate tactics/strategy, and hold team members accountableDefine and communicate vision for digital transformation of local and wholesale Ethernet productsUnderstand and develop Subject Manager Expert (SME) knowledge in Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier products and services and their associated regulatory environmentWhat We Look For in a CandidateBachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience7+ years' experience as a Product Manager in the telecommunications or technology industriesEntrepreneurial "can do" attitude, willingness to be creative, flexible, and ability make an impactDemonstrated experience with Program management, Process development and executionDemonstrated knowledge and experience defining and executing go-to-market strategiesExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsTechnical aptitude to understand product dynamics and recommend product enhancementsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience leading projects and in a matrix management environmentExperience with Wholesale products & customer accounts is a plusExperience with digital products and services is a plusCompensationThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
