Premier Banking Portfolio ManagerThe main purpose of this job is to build continuous relationships with an assigned client portfolio and effectively deliver the premier customer service GUEST model.Essential FunctionsCustomize and build an account team around the needs of each client situation and provide consistent communication to all stakeholdersUtilize business leads to cultivate relationships, broaden knowledge of client and further business objectivesBuild key partnerships with branch colleagues by participating in referral calls togetherCultivate a referral pipeline as appropriateProvide continuous education on offerings and changes as appropriate within assigned marketWork campaign leads to set appointments with clients and strategically plan contact timingEnsure timely responsiveness to customer interactions within the CONNECT applicationProcess fraud alerts as necessaryPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredIntermediate understanding of banking policies and proceduresBasic knowledge of investment acumenAbility to manage approval authorityAbility to maintain a valid driver's license and meet Commerce Bank's driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirementsMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and OutlookEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required3+ years retail banking and/or financial services experience requiredFor this position, Commerce Bank will review your motor vehicle driving record. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you'll be asked to authorize our review of that record.For this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report.*Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 - 3 days per weekThis position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
