The Ship Ops Manager is primarily responsible for managing Triple20’s ship order service offering, which is a demand-based “request and ship” service for clients for all sorts of activities: trade shows, company events, training, executive events, dealer network events, etc. utilizing our key operational platform, XhibitHub. XhibitHub is the main platform Triple20 uses to manage client inventory, coordinate client parcel shipments, and share inventory information with clients. 


There will be some client communication, but it is mostly an internal role: locating and reviewing items, preparing items for shipping, packing items, printing labels, and scheduling deliveries. This role involves building key relationships with both clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners/vendors. 


This position also manages all receiving (inbound) and shipping (outbound) parcel activity. This involves managing tracking numbers, processing materials as they arrive at HQ, inventorying materials as they return to HQ, internal communications, trouble-shooting issues, and managing important relationships with key shipping partners such as FedEx, UPS, DHL and local courier companies. 


There are key systems and processes in place, but they could stand to be refined and improved over time and so the Ship Ops Manager will need experience in building processes and systems to complete cross-functional tasks with efficiency and ease. 


Finally, the Ship Ops Manager will be our XhibitHub super user. XH is T20’s new platform for managing ship orders, client ship order inventory, and internal rental inventory. This position will be primarily responsible to be the super user for the platform, helping ease client adoption and drive improvements in how we use, and how clients experience, the platform. Familiarity with project management is a must-have skill here. 


Must be able to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs with assistance, to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to pick-up from vendors and deliver stock and materials to customers upon request, to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials (must be able to climb a step ladder at approximately five feet in height and to work from a lift up to twenty feet in height). Experience operating a forklift and/or willingness to learn is a plus.


Experience with working in warehouse and/or inventory management is very relevant to this role. Experience and knowledge of inventory and tracking software, as well as experience working with databases, would be highly valued.
