As a Security Officer - Cultural Site Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol the location to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will interact with guests, assist with access control, and utilize technology to support daily operations, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations to the appropriate personnel or authorities as required. Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site to support daily operations. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during the shift.Minimum Requirements: Access control or badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
