Systems EngineerBlueHalo, an AV Company, is hiring a highly talented Systems Engineer to join our team In this role you will provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Products Support team, with a focus on requirements, modeling and simulation (M&S), and verification and validation (V&V) activities in support of missile defense M&S Framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) development.Job Description:Develop and review missile defense system requirements for M&S Framework and CTM developmentDevelop and review verification and validation (V&V) plans for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organizationDraft and review technical documentsCoordinate system engineering life cycle products and activities with both internal and external stakeholders to include prime developers and the Missile Defense System (MDS) elementsSupport trouble shooting and develop solutions for M&S Framework and CTM observations in support of MDA's ground test and flight test programsInteract between the government and prime developer in support of MDA's ground test and flight test programsAnalyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of workRequired:BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) fieldMinimum of 7+ years of related professional experienceActive Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS clearanceExperience with Agile and SAFe software development principlesExperience with M&S requirements developmentExperience with M&S developmentExperience with M&S verification and validationAbility to work with a diverse team of engineers (geographically diverse) of different perspectives, skillsets, and backgroundsAbility to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical trained peopleDesired:Experience working with the Missile Defense Systems (MDS) and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)Practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and other languages typically used for system modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture framework and UML)Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers (geographically diverse) of different perspectives, skillsets, and backgroundsExposure to MDA test events and activities supported by M&S products and servicesExperience with analysis, test, and systems engineering of M&S for one or more elements of the MDS (i.e. Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors, or C2)Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
