Become a Guardian of the HillThe department is currently accepting applications for:Lateral Officers officers currently sworn in North Carolina and out-of-state.Police Recruit people who want to start a career as a police officer with our department and will need to attend, or are currently attending, a Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Academy.Salary, Incentives, and BenefitsSalary range is $53,000 to $93,981, with a higher salary for lateral officers based on experience, training, and education. Police Recruit starting salary is $53,000.
