QA Analyst Automated & Manual Testing (Product Team)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Analyst with expertise in both automated and manual testing to join our dynamic team. In this role you will ensure the quality reliability and functionality of ProScore s software solutions through comprehensive testing processes. Your work will enhance product quality minimize defects and contribute to continuous improvement in our development processes.

As a QA Analyst you will collaborate closely with our Product Management Team and crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and product analysts to ensure ProScores solutions meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers.

• Test Planning and Execution:
  Develop detailed test plans test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing based on functional requirements and user stories.

• Manual Testing:
  Execute manual testing efforts including functional regression integration and exploratory testing to ensure the product works as intended.

• Automated Testing:
  Design develop and maintain automated test scripts to support regression integration and endtoend testing. Use tools like Selenium Cypress or similar to automate repetitive tasks and enhance test coverage.

• Bug Identification and Tracking:
  Identify log and track defects throughout the lifecycle collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Provide detailed reports with steps to reproduce severity and supporting documentation (screenshots or logs).

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with developers product managers and business analysts to understand business requirements and user needs ensuring proper test coverage across the application.

• Test Environment Management:
  Set up and maintain test environments to ensure test accuracy and consistency. This includes working with databases servers and cloud infrastructure (if applicable).

• Regression Testing:
  Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that new features or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Suggest enhancements to testing processes frameworks and methodologies to boost test effectiveness efficiency and quality.

• Documentation:
  Maintain clear documentation of test cases test results and defect reports. Contribute to testing best practices and standards.

• Crossfunctional Communication:
  Regularly communicate test status challenges and progress to team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals and timelines.

• Experience:
  5 years in Quality Assurance (QA) with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.

• Startup Experience: Proven experience working in a fastpaced startup environment with the ability to adapt to rapid changes take initiative and operate effectively in an agile resourceconstrained setting.
  

• Test Automation Tools:
  Proficiency with popular automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium Cypress JUnit or TestNG.

• Manual Testing Skills:
  Solid experience in manual testing techniques including functional regression integration and exploratory testing.

• Programming/Scripting:
  Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Java Python JavaScript) to create and modify automated test scripts.

• Testing in Agile:
  Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with experience in sprint cycles and continuous integration processes.

• Bug Tracking:
  Experience using bug tracking tools like JIRA Bugzilla or similar platforms to log track and prioritize defects.

• CrossFunctional Collaboration:
  Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• ProblemSolving:
  Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across various environments and software layers.

• Cloud Testing:
  Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS Azure Google Cloud etc.).

• Security Testing:
  Basic knowledge of security testing principles especially in the context of financial services applications.

• Database Testing:
  Experience with database testing including writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.

• Performance Testing:
  Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner JMeter) for evaluating system scalability and load handling.

• CI/CD Experience:
  Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines including tools like Jenkins GitLab or CircleCI.
