Job Duties:
Completes assessments within a given timeline
Completes FBA based on the BACB guidelines for behavior analysts
Interface with other professionals communicating the rationale of behavioral intervention in general and how the program designed for a specific child is resulting in significant clinical change
Primes families for receiving ABA services and provides rationale for recommendations
Uses approved assessment tools based on client needs and funding source requirements not limited to the VBMAPP, AFLS, and Vineland
Creates individualized BIPs
Provides oversight of New Hire Training(NHT)
Ensures clinical quality of NHT
Assists with the dissemination of clinical content to the region as directed by the ED
Oversee the implementation of BAT training
May be asked to provide supervision; this may be region-specific
Uses best practices for all recommendations
Participates in mandatory trainings and meetings
Meets a monthly billable quota
May be asked to mentor and train mid-tier supervisors to conduct FBAs
Keeps up to date with the latest research and strategies in ABA and utilizes these interventions in recommendations
Requirements:
Documented experience developing and implementing ABA programs
Minimum 1 year as a BCBA supervising and progressing ABA programs
Experience conducting and completing FBAs
Excellent writing skills
Ability to complete FBAs in 4 weeks
Experience working with children (ages 2 to 18) who range from high functioning to low functioning ASD and be able to develop and supervise the implementation of clinical programs in the home, school, and community environments
Master's degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related
program, required
Active BCBA Certification required
3+ years of experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
At least 1 year of experience working with various software solutions for data collection, programming, and report writing tasks
Subject to a criminal background check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding, which we will pay for
