Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Syracuse, NY Start Date: August 4, 2025 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: 5x8s | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month Position Overview: Join a collaborative therapy team as a Travel Occupational Therapist working across acute care and outpatient settings. This is a full-time contract role designed for experienced therapists who can deliver comprehensive patient-centered treatment and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: Deliver Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician Develop individualized care goals in consultation with care teams, patients, and families Perform patient evaluations and re-assessments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in rounds, clinics, and interdisciplinary meetings Provide education to patients, families, and staff Maintain equipment and therapy supplies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy NYS Occupational Therapy License or eligibility – REQUIRED Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care and outpatient settings BLS Certification (AHA) preferred Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Offered by HumanEdge Travel Healthcare humanedgealliedhealth.com 888‑715‑4421 HumanEdge Travel Healthcare Job ID #11022.
