Investor Relations Associate

Our client is seeking an Investor Relations associate to join this dynamic team at a leading Scientific PR Agency. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role within the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to asset management, accounting firms, or investment banking and exposure to healthcare & biotech related clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret financial statements and conduct financial modeling to provide insightful analysis.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of capital markets and the banking and financial services industry.
- Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while synthesizing large amounts of information.
- Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation creation.
- Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and presentation channels, maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
- Organize and track investor and analyst meetings, outcomes, and changes in the shareholder base.
- Stay updated on market trends, peer performance, and capital market dynamics through industry benchmarking.
- Provide innovative investor relations strategies and tactics to clients, leveraging industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a related role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and capital markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with different financial vehicles for public and private companies is a plus.
