Duration: 3 Months


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team, focusing on web applications and commerce-related order flows. This role will specifically test the variant configuration system to ensure accuracy, a smooth user experience, and alignment with the overall order flow. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects while providing insights for system improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Variant Configurations: Validate the configurator functionality on the automotive website, ensuring all variant options and configurations are accurate.
  • Order Flow Testing: Ensure a seamless transition from configuration to order completion, testing the end-to-end order process across the system.
  • Cross-Browser and Device Testing: Perform testing across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and consistency in user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, business, and product teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues throughout the order flow.
  • Test Case Management: Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases for web applications, ensuring full coverage of configurations and order processes.
  • Defect Management: Report, track, and validate defects using QA tools, ensuring timely resolution and updates to stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Alignment: Ensure that all configurator flows align with Salesforce-related processes for a cohesive user journey.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Provide detailed feedback on system functionality, offering insights on how to improve and streamline the configuration and order flow process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing, specifically with web applications and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  • Strong knowledge of variant configuration systems (preferably in the automotive industry).
  • Familiarity with order management and checkout flows in e-commerce systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and test case management software.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in testing Salesforce-integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
