Description Professional - ClinicalReq #: 51167Summary:Working in a supportive role under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the pharmacy technician coordinates and performs the technical activities required by the MaineHealth Home Delivery Pharmacy.Using EPIC Willow Ambulatory and EPIC EMHR, the pharmacy technician will assist in processing prescription orders, troubleshooting insurance adjudication issues, and coordinating high-level patient care, acting as a member of the patient's interdisciplinary care team. In addition, this role will identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to the implementation of effective solutions.MaineHealth Home Delivery Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy that processes prescription orders to ship to patients in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Florida using advanced RFID technology (CoreFlex).Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician.3. Experience: None required4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficient computer skills5.
