About the RoleSeeking a driven and detail-focused Project Estimator to lead cost estimating, scheduling, contractor/vendor coordination, budget tracking, and risk mitigation across multiple private-sector construction projects. This position works closely with operational leadership from early planning through project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate cost estimates by reviewing plans, drawings, and documentationPerform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipmentSolicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliersMaintain cost historical records to support future estimatingDevelop project schedules using industry-standard scheduling toolsTrack critical path and identify potential delays, risks, and recovery optionsCoordinate procurement and delivery of equipment and materialsComplete and submit Schedule of ValuesWork with architects, engineers, and field personnel to align cost, scope, and scheduleMonitor budget, schedule execution, quality, and technical performanceSupport design review processes and assist in drawing interpretationsCollaborate with clients in a professional and solutions-focused mannerCore CompetenciesDeep understanding of commercial construction and design-build deliveryEffective problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to adapt to evolving priorities and project conditionsStrong team collaboration skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionOversightReports to senior operational leadership and oversees assigned job sites and crew personnel.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsOffice environment plus jobsite presenceExposure to active construction conditions and outdoor environmentsAbility to navigate uneven terrain, climb ladders/stairs, and stand/walk for extended periodsHoursStandard schedule: 7:30 am – 4:30 pmMay require flexibility depending on project schedules and site activity.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s degree preferredOSHA-30, municipal permitting familiarity, and prior project leadership beneficialKnowledge of Butler-style PEMB systems highly valuedPreferred Additional ExperienceFamiliarity with:Sage 300 CREProcoreRS MeansWinESTAdobe ProBlue Beam / RevuPrimavera P6Microsoft Project
