Part of continued growth and success, the client is seeking a talented and motivated Syndicate Loan Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.


Position Overview: As a Syndicate Loan Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and supporting syndicated loan transactions from origination through settlement. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including syndicate desks, legal counsel, compliance, and external stakeholders, to ensure the smooth execution of loan syndication processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our syndicated lending business.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Transaction Management: Oversee the end-to-end syndicated loan transaction process, including deal monitoring, documentation review, and coordination of syndicate activities.
  2. Documentation Review: Review loan documentation and agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Syndicate Coordination: Liaise with syndicate desks, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate syndication activities, including deal allocation, pricing, and distribution.
  4. Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on borrowers, including credit analysis, financial statement review, and risk assessment.
  5. Settlement and Funding: Coordinate settlement activities and ensure timely funding of syndicated loans in accordance with contractual obligations.
  6. Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate operational, credit, and compliance risks associated with syndicated loan transactions.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular reports and analytics on syndicate loan portfolio performance, including key metrics and trends.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and syndicated loan management systems/software.
