Product Management And Development Senior ManagerAt CVS Health, we're building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care. As part of Aetna's Commercial Product organization, this position is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing new product offerings, with a particular focus on digital innovation. It will be imperative for the leader to understand market needs, the competitive landscape, and how to successfully drive product strategy and development across a matrixed organization. The Product Management and Development Senior Manager is responsible for managing the development and launch of key products that leverage Aetna's digital capabilities, driving differentiation that leapfrogs the competition. The Product Management and Development Senior Manager will also serve as a key subject matter expert both internally and externally, regularly attending customer meetings. The Product Management and Development Senior Manager will drive cross-functional collaboration with digital, IT, sales, sales enablement, marketing, underwriting, actuarial, finance, operations, product, and product engineering to design, deliver and communicate the value proposition of new digital products and capabilities.Essential ResponsibilitiesLeverages in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across functions and within market segments to help direct the development and implementation of new digital product initiatives and enhancements. Ensures successful development of new digital products including a customizable front door for employer groups and personalized member experience to optimize health engagement and outcomes. Supports and leads matrix stakeholders across the CVS Health enterprise. Directs, evaluates, and provides requirements/specifications for use of appropriate business processes and systems to support product initiatives. Seeks and maintains comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences and competitive pressures to develop and support commercial products. Drives development of effective product offerings to customers to meet commercial organizational goals. Understands and tracks key performance indicators including member engagement, satisfaction, and ROI. Participates in and/or conducts focus group sessions, broker briefings or one-on-one meetings with consultants, brokers, general agents and/or employer groups to obtain voice of customer feedback and support achievement of sales and retention goals. Combines data-driven insights with market and segment research to uncover unmet customer needs and align existing solutions and/or design new solutions. Leads product performance management. Oversees business case development and product gating process. This is an individual contributor role that will work in a highly matrixed organization. Translates technical product features and specs for non-technical teams conveying value in plain language, operating fluidly at the boundary of business and technology.Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years or more of digital health solutions and product management/development or in similar area. Employee benefits industry experience. Product innovation, development, and management experience. Strategic thinker with ability to identify and capitalize on unmet needs. Digital healthcare knowledge and experience. Strong financial acumen to develop business cases, understand financial drivers of purchasing decisions, and target product price points relative to competition and customer expectations. Experience, comfort, and success working in and building relationships in a multi-stakeholder environment. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
