Superior Academy of Music (in Miami, FL) is looking for a piano teacher with experience teaching students of all ages and levels. The successful candidate will need to teach more than 30 hrs/week worth of students ages 4-adults in preparation for recitals, examinations and national and international competitions.
A masters degree in piano performance, collaborative piano or piano pedagogy is required for this position. The successful candidate would be willing/able to start on October 1st, 2024. We look forward to learning more about you

Qualifications
Masters degree in piano performance, collaborative piano or piano pedagogy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Permanent residency in the US or American citizenship will be preferred.
WEEKLY TEACHING HOURS AND DUTIES: Between 30 - 35 hrs a week (afternoons/evenings on weekdays and morning/afternoon on Saturdays), plus attendance to student recitals (twice a year). Earning potential is between $4-$5K a month.
As a founding school and local testing center for the Royal Conservatory of Music, the person occupying this position will also have the opportunity to be the Center Representative, helping host the RCM examinations twice a year. This position will be compensated separately by the Royal Conservatory.
