Job Title: Telco Network Engineer

Location: Overland Park, KS, Bellevue WA, or Dallas TX

Job Description-

Responsible for implementing and certifying telecommunications applications on the OCP Platform. This includes supporting the integration of each platform into the cloud and orchestration platforms. Working with the application owners and verifying the cloud platform meets each application requirement. The Engineer will lead the maintenance/maintain the testing, support the application testing team and document the integration in detail.

Required Skills-


3+ years of experience in telecom domain, deploying telco NFV on public/private cloud


• In-depth knowledge of telco NFV, 5GC, IMS core, openshift platform, container networking, SDN


• Must be able to create technical requirement documents based on discussion with application owners/stakeholders.


Collaborate with cross functional teams, including cloud architects to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing management of telco applications.


• Able to create technical documentation for onboarding process, best practice.


• Collaborate with application team to ensure seamless integration of telco network function in Openshift container platform (OCP)


• Able to support network automation and orchestration for cloud native environment.


• Knowledge of network automation and orchestration tools - Ansible, Helm, Terraform, GraphQL


Proficiency in scripting language- Python, bash for automation.


• Familiar with telecom network protocols and services e.g. SIP, Diameter, MPLS, BGP, VXLAN etc.


• Industry certifications such as CKA, RHOCP, AWS/Azure or equivalent are highly desirable.


• Solid understanding of network function virtualization and container networking.


• Expertise in containerized networking, CNI plugins i.e. Multus, Calico, SR-IOV, Kube-OVN.


• Expertise in defining network policy, external connectivity to OpenShift/ Kubernetes cluster.


• Knowledge of data center build on Spine-Leaf architecture CISCO Nexus- N9K platform.


• Experience with DNS resolution, DHCP, IPAM and their integration in dynamic environment like OCP.
