The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will join a team of tenured medical professionals at an outstanding 350+ bed hospital which is part of an amazing health system in Oregon. The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will report to the the Radiology Technicians and the Radiology Diagnostic Supervisor and will work with a passionate group of tenured radiology specialists. They will be partner experienced radiology technicians and healthcare professionals who each play a vital role in ensuring this department runs smoothly. 

The Medical Imaging and Radiology Department at this exceptional healthcare facility includes CT Scan, Diagnostic Radiology (X-Ray), Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Mobile Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, PET Scan and Ultrasound. The CT Technician will perform medical imaging procedures and use a variety of imaging equipment in compliance with hospital regulations. 

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will be trained to use imaging equipment to take high quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety throughout the process by using accurate timing and positioning. The technician will develop these images by combining a series of X-ray images taken from different angles throughout the body and using computer technology to provide an accurate depiction of the patient’s internal structures. The Radiology Technologist will assist experienced Physicians with a variety of Radiography procedures and efficiently collect and document patient data.
