As a Helper--Electrician, you will assist skilled electricians in completing electrical installations and maintenance tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist electricians in installing and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.Help in the installation of conduits and pipes for electrical wires and cables.Assist in troubleshooting electrical components, equipment, and systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair, ensuring compliance with codes.Support electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, following electrical codes and blueprints.Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.Prepare and clean work areas and tools.Follow safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards and accidents.Work under the supervision and guidance of licensed electricians to gain practical experience and develop your skills.Qualifications:Basic understanding of electrical systems and codes is preferred.Prior experience in a construction or electrical environment is a plus but not required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including outdoor sites and confined spaces.Strong communication skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods.Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.Safety Commitment:At L C Personnel Inc - Labor Finders, safety is our top priority.
