Patient Access Specialist OpportunityWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Lewiston, Maine. This role is in the healthcare industry where you will be interacting with customers and patients, managing their accounts, and handling their inquiries. Responsibilities include engaging in patient-facing activities and providing a high level of customer service. You will process patient credit applications, answer inbound calls, maintain patient credit information, perform authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions. Participation in clinical trial operations and monitoring patient accounts are also part of the role.Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, previous experience in a customer-facing role, strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, basic computer skills, and familiarity with data entry.Multiple shifts with rotating schedules are available, varying hours, and shift differential is offered.
