Integration Manager

Job Description:
As an M&A Integration Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the integration process of acquisition targets into the platform of our national home services business. Our integrations start prior to deal closing so our teams can begin driving results immediately. This role is highly cross-functional and will require the candidate to work closely with company leadership and various teams to identify, plan, and execute integration initiatives across all departments.
Responsibilities
Integration Planning
- Develop a comprehensive integration strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and goals of the acquisition.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify integration objectives and prioritize initiatives based on strategic goals and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with functional leaders (sales, marketing, operations, IT, finance, HR, IT, etc.) to align integration plans with objectives.
- Facilitate and drive communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure integration objectives are completed.
Due Diligence and Deal Administration Support
- Participate in due diligence activities to assess the feasibility and potential challenges of integration.
- Provide insights on integration risks and opportunities to inform decision-making during the acquisition process.
- Support deal making team in deal execution.
Communication and Change Management
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and both merging entities to drive and execute all integration activities.
- Develop feedback loop process with functional department teams to identify areas for improvement on future integrations.
- Regular and timely updates keep everyone in the loop. This includes key milestones, integration progress, and any changes that might impact employees or stakeholders.
Reporting and Post-Integration Analysis
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of integration initiatives.
- Develop feedback loop process with functional department teams to identify areas for improvement on future integrations.
- Conduct analysis to evaluate the success of integration efforts and post-close performance results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven experience in project management and/or integration management. Experience in M&A integration is a plus.
Must have strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar.
Experience in executing projects, M&A integration preferred.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of M&A transactions.
