Electrical Maintenance Technician II/IIILocation: Big Lake, TXSchedule: 5/2Pay Rate: $65.00/hrPosition SummaryThe Electrical Maintenance Technician II/III supports field electrical maintenance activities across oil & gas operations, with a strong emphasis on electrical isolation (LOTO), preventive maintenance, and breakdown troubleshooting. This role is responsible for maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while minimizing production downtime. The technician will work closely with operations, vendors, and contractors to execute maintenance activities in compliance with company SSHE standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & MaintenancePerform field electrical maintenance and electrical isolation (Lock Out/Tag Out LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, motors, and associated equipmentPlan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective/breakdown maintenance activitiesTroubleshoot electrical systems to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actionsSupport plant modifications in compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirementsSafety & ComplianceComply with and actively promote high Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standardsUtilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe actsParticipate in responsible waste management practicesAttend and actively participate in daily Operations morning shift meetingsCoordination & Continuous ImprovementWork with vendors and subcontractors as required to complete maintenance activitiesApply technical skills efficiently while identifying opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and simplificationCommunicate clearly with supervisors and operations teams regarding field conditions and recommended remediation stepsRequired Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a closely related electrical maintenance role, preferably within the oil & gas industryValid and current Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician's License (required) License number must be included on resume/submittalExperience with: Electrical maintenance in oilfield or industrial environments Powerline or powerline build projects (preferred) Oilfield electrical systems (preferred)Strong understanding of LOTO procedures and electrical safety practicesAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing prioritiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively without direct authorityAdditional InformationAgency-supplied vehicle: ton truckTools: Provided by XTOSafety-sensitive role
