Director, Process Engineering

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Process Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a process technology group, driving research and development initiatives, and implementing new products and enhancements to existing product lines.


Key Responsibilities:

- Direct a process technology group responsible for research, development, and implementation of new products and extensions to existing product lines.

- Manage complex, practical applications of scientific theory and processes in the development and ongoing technical management of the unit's products.

- Lead the alpha engineering program for all process technology related issues within the unit's product line.

- Oversee the alpha and beta product release for the business unit's product line.

- Interact with external customers to address unusually complex process issues and provide solutions to address High Value Problems (HVP) related to the business unit's product line.

- Participate in strategic planning to integrate research and development processes with the unit and the Product Business Group's overall business plan.

- Provide approval guidelines and leadership to process technology managers in the area of long-term strategy related to process development.

- Define performance metrics and report on the organization's progress against specific goals.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in process engineering, product development, and project management.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience in strategic planning and integrating research and development processes with business objectives.
