The unit consists of 130 beds with a staff of 6 full-time members. Typical staff composition includes 3 RNs and 3 RTRs on the day shift. The equipment used includes GE Innova and MacLab. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Common procedures performed include Left Heart Catheterization, PCI, Pacemaker insertions, TEE, Stress Tests, and Loop Recorders. Flexibility and teamwork are essential traits for successful candidates. On-call duties are required, averaging 12-15 days per month. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff. This position offers a competitive work environment and opportunities for growth.
