Director of Landscape ArchitectureThis leadership opportunity is with a growing, employee-focused engineering and consulting firm committed to thoughtful design and community-focused development.The Director of Landscape Architecture will lead and grow landscape architecture practice, driving business development while guiding design vision and project delivery. This role partners closely with clients, developers, and public agencies and provides the opportunity to shape a practice, mentor a team, and deliver impactful projects.Key responsibilities include:Lead business development and client outreach effortsSupport marketing initiatives and proposal developmentOversee design and production for urban design, mixed-use, commercial, multi-family, and residential projectsInterpret zoning codes, ordinances, and comprehensive plansAnalyze sites for development opportunities and constraintsPrepare due diligence studies, concept plans, and design documentsGuide and mentor landscape architects and interdisciplinary teamsLead project meetings with clients and regulatory agenciesEnsure quality and consistency across plans, details, and specificationsQualifications include:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape ArchitectureProfessional landscape architecture licensure8+ years of experience in private and public sector projectsProven success in business development and team leadershipStrong design, communication, and client relationship skillsProficiency with Adobe Creative SuiteDeep technical knowledge of landscape architectural site developmentWhat the firm offers:Practice leadership with growth opportunityCollaborative, people-first cultureProfessional development and mentorshipFlexible work environmentComprehensive benefits and long-term career growthFor additional information on this opportunity, please contact Kathryn Jorgenson directly at 320-558-3659.
