Palmetto Family Homecare has immediate hire for Weekend Caregivers for available 8-12hr shifts in the West Ashley area.  

 

Responsibilities vary based on the needs of the assignment.  These needs are outlined in the client’s individualized care plans. We do our best to pair our caregivers with clients they feel comfortable providing care for.

Duties can include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal Care Assistance (bathing, dressing, and grooming, etc.) 
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Appointment management & reminders
  • Range of motion / exercises
  • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices as needed
  • Vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration)
  • Assisting with ambulation as needed
  • Medication reminder
  • Documenting Care Notes
  • Companionship and supervision
