We also own and operate event properties across the professional and collegiate sports landscape, focused on sports including basketball, football, golf, pickleball, and volleyball.Intersport is seeking to add a smart and driven marketer to its Agency Services team. The Agency Services team is integral to providing existing clients with a variety of solutions to help them reach their business and brand objectives. The Account Exec. (AE), or Senior Account Exec. (SAE), is responsible for a breadth of responsibilities spanning program strategy, management, and execution for the client they are assigned and ensures that work is provided in a high-quality, timely, cost-effective manner. The AE, or SAE, is expected to assist on various aspects of a piece of business as well as lead select program deliverables and should be someone seeking ownership and corresponding accountability for responsibilities spanning sponsorship and/or experiential marketing.ResponsibilitiesEmbody and reflect Intersport's performance-based culture and commits him/herself and team to the highest standards for all agency workWork effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver executional excellenceDemonstrate a thorough understanding and a passion for his/her clients' industry, business, consumer and brands, including an understanding of their competitive set and industry while updating them on industry trends and best practicesEstablish himself/herself as a trusted strategic business partner to the client and agency partnersDemonstrate mature presence in meetings and client interactionLead coordination and administration of regular conference callsCreate and maintain administrative documents in a clear, concise and detailed manner for client and agency backup including points of view, recaps, reporting, agendas, and timelinesManage the creative and production briefing processAccountable for managing legal process such as contract administrationProduce research and competitive analysisActively contribute in brainstorming and idea generation sessions with cross-functional teamsLead and assist in the management of various client-sponsored property relationships, or client-created proprietary eventsProvide oversight and quality assurance on sponsorship asset utilization, activation, and planningManage and execute live events and event operations and the corresponding client communication and vendor managementEnsure event-related strategy development and sell-inLead on-site program execution including staff training, vendor management, troubleshooting and reportingSupport the development and assist in the management of program budgets to achieve client needs and remain on targeted budgetProvide clear, timely and accurate financial reporting (e.g. invoicing, reconciliation, etc.)Work collaboratively with all members of integrated internal and external teamsHelp train/provide feedback to junior team membersSalary and BenefitsThe targeted salary range for this role is: $55,000 to $75,000, depending on full-time, non-internship professional relevant experience.This position includes medical, dental, vision, parental leave benefits and 401(k) with company match for qualified employees. This position does not include bonuses, commissions, or other incentives.QualificationsAccount Exec.: two (2) to four (4) years' professional, relevant, non-internship, full-time experience in a marketing role at an agency, brand, media company, sports or entertainment property, or related organizationSenior Account Exec.: four (4) to six (six) years' professional, relevant, non-internship, full-time experience in a marketing role at an agency, brand, media company, sports or entertainment property, or related organizationStrong knowledge and understanding event/experiential marketingExperience managing holistic brand strategies and seeing the execution through multiple marketing channelsAbility to manage multiple programs/projects concurrently, inclusive of a detail oriented and organized approachWell-rounded, creative thinkerApplication of superior prioritization and time-management skillsAbility to produce high quality work at a fast paceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive, team player with a strong work ethicPrevious experience with daily contact with clients and support teamsExemplary written and oral communication skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word; proficiency in ExcelAbility to travel for business on trips typically lasting between two to five daysPolished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the businessIntersport is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
