Maxim Healthcare Services is excited to present a unique opportunity for new graduate Registered Nurses or those with limited experience (less than 12 months). Our Novice Nurse Training Program is designed to equip you with essential skills and knowledge through a structured mentorship approach.

As a participant in this program, you will collaborate with an experienced Maxim nurse who will provide ongoing guidance, real-time feedback, and valuable training experiences. This hands-on role allows you to work closely with patients in a home care setting, where you will develop competencies in direct patient care, care coordination, management of ventilators, tracheostomies, and feeding tubes, as well as enhance your critical thinking abilities, all while receiving continuous support from our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Employ the nursing process to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care and related services
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor their effectiveness, and document progress towards established goals
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions, reporting any significant alterations to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collaborative efforts and care coordination in medical records
- Ensure a safe and efficient environment by monitoring equipment and adhering to universal precautions

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN License
- Current CPR Certification
- PPD or chest X-ray as required
