You will be an integral part of our data team, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our data pipelines, PowerBI reports, APIs, and web applications. As a QA Engineer, you will:


What You'll Do:

  • Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications.
  • Test New and Existing Applications: Conduct testing for new applications and perform repeatable testing for existing products to ensure they meet or exceed defined quality goals.
  • Iterative Development and Release Management: Participate in the iterative development and release management process within an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Regression and End-to-End Testing: Define the scope for regression testing and perform end-to-end testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Collaboration: Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Lead Projects: Lead QA projects and ensure QA milestones are met according to timelines.
  • Documentation: Document test cases, defects, and test results as needed.
  • Test Execution: Execute test plans, continually analyzing test efforts for completeness, and perform system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing.
  • Automated Testing: Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Playwright, and analyze the success/failure of automated scripts, making modifications as required.


Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business (e.g., Accounting, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Logistics), Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college/university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Industry Experience: 1-2 years of prior industry and/or consulting experience in QA, data analytics, operations, finance, engineering, supply chain, or global procurement of direct/indirect materials.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft suite programs (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI), and a basic understanding of relational databases and data validation techniques.
  • Test Automation: Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in an Agile software development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to present and lead client meetings.
  • Project Management: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage project timelines, and complete tasks on time with high quality.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and quality checking skills.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel (domestic and international) up to 50% of the time to support our clients in the field.


Preferred Skills:

  • Cloud Computing: Experience in cloud-based computing (e.g., Azure).
  • Pipeline Tools: Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar pipeline tools.
  • Programming Languages: Previous exposure to Python, C++, Java, or other programming languages.
  • ETL Experience: ETL experience from multiple data sources.
  • Data Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Version Control and Defect Tracking: Knowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systems.
  • SQL Knowledge: Firm understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Test Frameworks: Good understanding of writing tests using standard frameworks like NUnit/TestNG.
  • Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
